Modelling Cardiovascular Disease

Description:
The development of a System Dynamic simulation model to explore the impact of differing policies and practices upon the disease burden associated with cardiovascular disease. The work was undertaken in partnership with Dr. Jack Homer, one of the leaders in the world applying Systems Dynamics modelling to major health issues.

Description:
The development of a qualitative System Dynamic model to explore the issues involved in implementing national frameworks for the management of long-term conditions. Support for Pacific Diabetes Programme

Description:
Building upon the modelling work undertaken as part of the ‘Let’s Beat Diabetes’ programme this work extended that modelling to explore issues specific to the Pacific population. The modelling was used to improve the level of debate amongst those involved in developing diabetes initiatives as part of the National diabetes Framework.
