QUALIFICATIONS:
BA Education (Auck), MA Hons (Auck), Currently completing PhD at Victoria University Wellington

EXPERIENCE:
David has worked in both the public and private sectors in New Zealand and overseas. Providing counselling to individuals, groups and families during the 70’s and early 80’s David brought his understanding of individual and group dynamics to the organisational setting where his focus has been on helping individuals and groups improve their understanding of and ability to change the systems within which they live and work.

Placing a great deal of emphasis on combining best evidence with wide engagement David combines extensive facilitation skills with a range of modelling tools to help individuals and groups improve their ability to understand the complex systems within which they live and work and improve their ability to design systems which are more viable.

As part of this work David also utilises dynamic simulation tools which enable people to go beyond the constraints of their own mental models to develop collaborative system models that allow them to explore and test alternative futures.
